Rams Snap Road Curse, Take First Place

Rams vs Broncos
By James T. Ingram for OhhMyOnline.net

Well, the St. Louis Rams finally exorcised their road curse with an impressive 36-33 performance against the Denver Broncos in week 12 of the NFL’s schedule.

And to their credit, they did it in style with QB Sam Bradford completing 22 of 37 passes for 308 yards (his first 300-yard passing performance).

With that win and a Seattle loss (courtesy of the KC Chiefs), the Rams launched themselves into first place in their division as they begin to (can we say it?) eye a post-season playoff slot.

It was a big day for tight ends, with 2 TD catches by Billy Bajema and 1 by Michael Hoomanawanui.

It was also the return of WR Denario Alexander, following arthroscopic knee surgery. And Alexander proved to be impressive, setting up 2 second quarter TD’s with key receptions.

Next up for the first place Rams is another division rivalry between the Cardinals at Arizona.
