RAMS SIGN CENTER
Looking to strengthen a beat up offensive line, the Rams signed free agent center Jason Brown to a five-year, $37.5 million contract.
“We are excited to Welcome Jason to the Rams family”, said Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo. “Jason was one of our top priorities entering free agency..”
The 6-3, 320 pound center was formerly with the Baltimore Ravens for the first four years of his NFL career, starting 45 of 54 games and all 16 games, last season, for the Ravens.
Brown, who turns 26 on May 5 is married and boasts that his wife will officially begin her dental practice this May as well( sorry ladies).
He (Brown) feels that coming from a playoff team like Baltimore that his work ethic will be an asset to the Rams, who struggled in the trenches during the 2008 season.
